Owen Beck's Honours Project - An Other Voice From Aceh

Welcome. This website presents work I have completed during 2006 and 2007 as the major works produced in my Honours program at Murdoch University. The main thesis is a film called An Other Voice From Aceh. It is supported with a written dissertation that presents theoretical underpinnings of the film in a somewhat creative form.

A hard copy of this thesis is available from the Murdoch University Library, along with a DVD featuring all the videos from the site.

The videos are all in Quicktime (.mov) format and are quite big files. The best way to view them is to save them to your hard drive, then play them locally.
